Job-related skin problems occur more frequently than any other occupational disease and often force the sufferer to give up their job.. In addition to an individually elevated sensitivity, occupations based in moist areas and allergies against working materials are usually responsible. The problems often manifest themselves in the form of hand eczema which can almost always be treated effectively.
In our consultation for occupational dermatology, the underlying pathogens are diagnosed and treated in collaboration with specialists from the Berufsgenossenschaftliches Krankenhaus Boberg [Industrial Injuries Hospital]. The goal is the permanent occupational rehabilitation, which is usually successful thanks to of modern preventative skin protection and rehabilitative measures.
