The DERMATOLOGIKUM HAMBURG is dedicated to the original DERMATOLOGIKUM concept by Paul Gerson Unna, which was based on the coexistance of top level clinical treatment and teaching activities.

At the DERMATOLOGIKUM HAMBURG advanced training events are routinely held for medical students and prospective specialists under the direction of Prof. Steinkraus and Prof. Reich. As professors Prof. Steinkraus and Prof. Reich hold lectures at the Universities of Hamburg and Göttingen. Both professors are accredited for 2.5-year advanced training in the field of dermatology and a 1.5-year accreditation for advanced training in the field of allergology.

The advanced training is complemented by regular continuing education events and symposiums featuring lectures by nationally and internationally accounted experts on various topics of dermatology and adjacent fields.
